Watermelon lemonade is one of my favorite summer recipes! This refreshing drink is the perfect replacement for soda, with the sparkling mineral water to add the fizz and the watermelon to add color and sweetness. It’s also packed with lots of healthy nutrients and the ginger and lemon give it the right amount of zing that makes it taste delicious! Each cup has approximately 25 calories and the thermogenic effect produced by the ginger makes this drink a potent fat and calorie-burner.
Watermelon Lemonade Recipe
Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 0 min | Serves: 4 cups
Ingredients
+ 2 cups sparkling mineral water
+ juice of 1 lemon
+ 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
+ 2 cups diced watermelon
+ a handful of fresh mint leaves
+ juice of 1 lemon
+ 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
+ 2 cups diced watermelon
+ a handful of fresh mint leaves
Directions
Combine the lemon juice, ginger, and watermelon in a blender. Blend well, mix in the sparkling water and let it chill in the fridge for 1 hour. Serve fresh with mint leaves. Enjoy!
