Chimichurri is a fresh, garlicky sauce from Argentina that is traditionally used for grilled meat and fish but you can also serve it with pasta and grilled veggies or use it to marinate meat. This vibrant green sauce is rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K and each tablespoon has approximately 35 calories. Chimichurri sauce is also a great source of minerals like potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, and magnesium and the garlic and cayenne pepper duo are perfect to boost your weight loss, improve circulation and help your body get rid of toxins!

Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

Prep Time: 5 min  |  Cook Time: 0 min  |  Serves: 2 cups

Ingredients
+ 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
+ 1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
+ 1/4 cup minced fresh oregano
+ 1 small onion or shallot, finely chopped
+ 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
+ 8 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
+ 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
+ 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
+ 1/2 tsp sea salt
Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a medium size bowl and serve it immediately or store in a mason jar in the fridge for up to one week. If you prefer you can also combine all the ingredients in a blender and mix until you have a smooth sauce. Enjoy!
