LION POSE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Kneel on the floor, bring your feet together and open the knees.
2. Place your hands on the floor between the knees, point your fingers back and extend your neck.
3. Stay in lion pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Relax and inhale deeply as you press your hands against the floor. Lengthen the chest and neck, and roar like a lion as you exhale.
The lion pose stretches the chest and wrists, and relieves tension in the neck and face. This is a soothing pose that helps reduce stress and anxiety.
